In the link below, you will find test results on Fluoroquinolone adduct to mitochondria and genomic DNA along with methods used during this study. Our study tested for only two Fluoroquinolones (“FQ”): Ciprofloxacin and Levofloxacin. The current study was performed on a group of over 50 individuals who are suffering from Fluoroquinolone-Associated Disability (FQAD). As of this date, we are aware of only two other studies performed on FQ DNA adducts which were completed using small samples in various laboratories.

In this study there was an experimental group of those who had taken an FQ, a control group who had never taken an FQ, and four children who had not taken an FQ, but their mothers did before or during pregnancy.
